Our Amenities include:
Inside the house we have amenities like all flat screen TVs, surround sound system, microwave, cocktail blenders, american and European coffee makers, BBQ grill and fully stocked with silverware, stemware, pots, pans, towels, sheets, and anything else you might need for a relaxing stay in a Caribbean Tropical Paradise.
The CAREFREE LIVING also INCLUDES: ROKU, WIFI, INTERNET, PEST CONTROL AND YARD MAINT. New roof, new docks, new flooring, new furniture, new appliances and new, A/C up and down stairs.
Outside and under the house we have a porch with bikes, hammock area, boat ramp, BBQ's, beach, two KAYAK, laundry area with a washer/ dryer, fish cleaning station, two bikes, two beach chairs, a fire pit and extra outdoor heated shower by the dock from when you come back from the beach or after a day of boating.
We have our own canalside mini-beach 220 feet of waterfront and our two docks are 50 feet and one that is 15 feet plus a boat ramp near by at the Looe Key Reef Tiki Bar.
The Docks are for LARGE AND SMALL BOATS, and we have a WALK AROUND SUNSET PORCH OF THE MINI-BEACH. Across the street, there is ample parking for boats and cars.
THE GROUNDS: there are several varieties of native plants and orchids in our garden, and your invited to look at them all. In the front of the house, (on the canal side where the large dock is) we have:
4 very rare and endangered Sergeant Palms or Buccaneer Palms, which are the most critically engendered palms in the Caribbean.
On in the beach, sides and rear of the home ( by the parking/ street) there are 12 coconut palms you can admire and some with beautiful orchids attached)
In the back of the home where the cars park, we have a huge 50 year old Gumbo Limbo Tree or Sunburned Tourist Tree, covered in Spanish moss and staghorn ferns.
In the three plantings areas surrounded by boulders in the back of the home on the main canal side we have large shading Button Woods, and smaller under story Iron woods, Lignum Vitae, (Cuban Oregano, great for for cooking), Rosemary, orchids, Bromeliads, Cycads, Bottle Palms, and Spanish moss.
In the back of the home on the fence side of the property there are two Cuban Royal Palms, with a large Bismarkia grayish palm in the middle and two more Sargent Palms as well as several indigenous Keys Thatch Palms and several large Coconut Palms.
In fall, Winter and Spring is migration season and according to the Audubon Society 60% of all birds that migrate between the US mainland and the Caribbean/ South America fly past the Keys.
